Project Civil Engineers  (Perth, WA)

Key Duties and Responsibilities

We are currently looking for project civil engineers, who will be responsible for determining construction methods, materials and quality standards. Duties  may include:

  • Drafting and drafting and interpreting specifications, drawings, plans, construction methods and procedures
  • Prepare and submit notifications to the Client / Principal Contractor as required
  • Organising and assist in directing site labour and the delivery of construction materials, plant and equipment, and establishing detailed programs for the coordination of site activities
  • Monitoring changes to designs, assessing effects on cost, and measuring, valuing and negotiating variations to designs in consultation with the Commercial Manager
  • Research and advise on the best engineering solution to meet with a client's needs and budget

Tertiary Qualifications in Civil Engineering

Superior time and priority management skills

Minimum experience in similar role of 5 or more years

Confident to be able to manage across a range of different relationships across the business and on site

Have a comprehensive background in project management, project controls or construction management

The enthusiasm and dedication to deliver solid and consistent results

Experience of reading plans and drawings and specifications

Estimating experience, Formwork, Steel reinforcement, Concrete and Excavation

Experience using Microsoft Project computer software

An optimistic and proactive approach to the tasks at hand - and be a driver for results
